Welcome to Mooring Tax Asset Group’s tax lien certificate assignment website. From here you may view tax certificates that we currently have available for purchase.

While most of our liens are sold at full redemptive value or at full redemptive value plus a premium, there may be a few liens on our lists that we are are offering at a discount. Investors who wish to purchase low dollar value liens may incur an assignment and an administrative fee. Liens are sold on a first come first serve basis, except in happenstance that two or more parties are interested in the same lien(s), in which case the lien(s) will generally be sold to highest bidder.

It is important to note that MTAG is not an advisory group. As with any investment, investors should carefully consider their investment objectives, risks, and expenses prior to investing. We recommend that any investor conduct their own due diligence prior to purchase. Furthermore, investors should be familiar with the laws governing tax certificates in the State and Jurisdictions in which they are interested.

A few specifics to consider:

·        MTAG does represent that the liens we sell are valid liens

·        MTAG makes no representation as to the condition of the underlying collateral.

·        MTAG makes no representation as to actual return on investment. However, our listings do provide the purchaser with the redemptive of the tax certificate.

Purchasing Our Liens

To purchase one or many of our liens follow these easy steps:

1. Browse our selection and contact the listing Case Manager. Or if you are inertested in a larger pool of liens browse our selection, produce your own list of interested Mooring numbers and email your selection(s), with all of your contact information and interested date of assignment to liens@mooringtax.com. Please keep in mind that we generally require one week turn around on assignments.
2. We will review the list and email you back which liens are still available and the assignment price. There is a chance that not all of the liens you requested will still be available as interest in assignments of tax certificate remains high.
3. Review the returned available list and to complete the transaction you will need to remit certified funds via wire transfer or cashier’s check.
4. Upon receipt of funds MTAG will forward you the appropriate tax certificates and/or endorsements.
5. Upon receipt of the assigned certificates you should be aware that you may be required to record your interest with the county.
